Word : Page add-on help needed
I have an 8-page document saved in Microsoft word, which
includes templates. I need to add a 9th page, but when I try to expand Page 8 to jump onto (new) page 9, it jumps back up to top of Page 8. So, how do I get to add a new page 9 to this? Thanx. |

Normally the way one gets a new page in Word is to continue typing until you
are on the new page. You can also format your paragraph to have a page break before. Format Paragraph. Documents in Word do not include templates, they might include tables. They would be attached to a template. If you attempt to type at the end of page 8 and you are bumped elsewhere for typing, that tells me that you are probably dealing with a document that is protected for forms. Another possibility is that you have a large graphic behind your text. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
