Default mail merge can't locate my data source which IS mail merge

i created a recipient list IN mail merge some months back, but now when i go
to merge print labels the wizzard does not display any option to use that
list. i found lots of info on merging with excel or outlook, but how do you
merge with mail merge??!!

I assume that you mean that you created a recipient list by using a catalog
or directory type mailmerge AND that you executed that merge to a document
and that it is that document that you are trying to use as the datasource.
To do that, you will need to have inserted a row at the top of the table
into which you insert field names that follow the format required by
mailmerge.
