Default Correcting Words Mis-spelled Because of Numb4ers

I have discovered that my Word doesn't recognize words like: Imme4diately,
Sei9zure, and Idio5t (long story)

Clearly they are mis-spelled words because of the type-o numbers included in
them but Word doesn't see them as errors or catch them on spell check. How
can I fix this? Do I have to add each example to the dictionary or is there
an en-masse solution to recognize number-spellings?

It sounds like you may have "Ignore words with numbers" checked. Go to tools,
options, then the spelling and grammer tab
