Why don't my tracked changes print out on someone else's printer?
I want my WORD 2007 documents to display my tracked changes (such as
strike-through and different color fonts) after I send them by email as attachments. Both Users of 2003 and 2007 have told me that their printed versions differ from mine. I would like both 2003 and 2007 users to be able to view and print the documents as they appear on my end. Thank you. |

One difference is that they'll see the changes in a different color
from you (you probably see them in red, they probably see them in blue). Another is that their Track Changes Options should match yours -- what to keep track of, what to show in balloons, etc. If they need only to _view_ and not _edit_ your tracked document, then you should send them a pdf rather than a Word file -- then they'll see just what you've created.
