Convert Word 2007 document to PowerPoint slides?
Hello,
I'm afraid Office 2007 has cut my level of efficiency to about 1/3 of what it was with Office 2003. What is the detailed procedure necessary to convert a Word document to a PowerPoint presentation? Thanks, Ray |

Convert Word 2007 document to PowerPoint slides?
Well, you can't actually "convert" a Word document to a presentation file,
but you can bring the content in from a Word document in several ways. Perhaps the one your looking for is on the Home Tab of the Ribbon. Click the bottom part of the New Slide button & select Slides From Outline... Assuming that the Word file is properly constructed as an Outline for the task. There is also the option of inserting the Word file as an Object. For that, go to the Insert Tab, click Object in the Text Group & select the Create from File option, then Browse for the Word file.
