No, but you can create a character style that contains the color, and

Hi Lowen,
To add to the previous reply if you're referring to a custom color on the 'Fill' pallette rather than a text color then yes, Word will allow your document or template to 'remember' (store) the last eight custom choices. ======== "lowen" wrote in message ...
