OP here.
Yes, Word generated a new template with the default fonts of Calibri and Cambria (headings). The question is, Where is my template? How can I find the active dotm file? I look into where the options where it says the file would be, but that file always has the old timestamp on it. The customizations and changes are being saved somewhere else, but I can't figure out where. It is not in the folder designated by Word options it seems. |

Could the ContributeWordUITemplate.dot file have anything to do with this?

Search Windows for all files called Normal.dotm (be sure to search hidden files
and folders). The file must be somewhere. If you're not already displaying filename extensions in Windows, choose to do so (it's in Folder Options). By the way, which kind of customizations are we talking about here? Note that not everything is saved in Normal.dotm. Macros, for example, could be in a custom template or in an add-in. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "landmark" wrote in message ... OP here.
