Default Copying and Pasting Hyperlinks

I use W2003.

I have a 4 page document and on each page on the same hyperlinks (linking to
headings within the document). I set bookmarks in the document and used
hyperlinks within the documents to those bookmarks.

I have successfully copied and pasted to three pages where they work fine
but on page 4 the links show as hyperlinks but do not work. It just stays on
page 4. I have even tried recreating them for just that page but it does not
work.
Any ideas anyone? Are there known issues using W2003 hyperlinks and
bookmarks?

Sorry if this seems trivial, but are you possibly linking to a heading that's
ON that page?

I see what you are saying so no is the answer to your question. To clarify
the links follow to headings on different pages of the document.

Then the next step you might consider in troubleshooting your "problem"
hyperlink is to view the underlying field code. If you right-click the
hyperlink and then click Toggle Field Codes, Word will display the field code
rather than the field result for that hyperlink.

You can look up the Hyperlink field in the Help and read what the various
switches are for (\l, \o, etc.). You can also make sure the code is correct
or experiment to test out various hypotheses on why that specific hyperlink
doesn't work the way you want it to.
