i AM TRYING TO SET UP MY 'E' MAIL WHERE I CAN SET UP MY 'E' MAIL SO WHEN IT
COMES IN MY 'E' MAIL WILL SEND THEM A MESSAGE STATING THAT I AM OUT OF THE
OFFICE AND WILL BE OUT UNTIL 12-25-09?

Not a Word issue. This is a function of your mail client and possibly your
mail server.

You need to ask in a newsgroup for whatever email client you are using. It's
not a Microsoft Word question.

If you are using Outlook, go to Tools, Out of Office assistant
