need to change "saved filename" in normal.dot
When I go to save a new document in Word the default save name is now
"November 04". I need to change it back to something less descriptive. Let me know if you have any suggstions. |

Open Normal.dot (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm for instructions) and then go to File | Properties and delete the Title property. But if the first thing in any given document is a date, then it will be suggested as the filename unless you have already populated the Title property. -- Suzanne S.
