Hi all,
Is-it possible, in word XP, to de-activate the automatic spelling mistakes detection for only one named document. Thank-you by advance. Karim. |

Note that if you post your question in multiple newsgroups, as you have
done, it makes it difficult for you to find the answer, and difficult for others to know when your question has already been answered. If you don't want spell-checking in a document, select everthing and set the language to "Do not check spelling or grammar". If you only want the automatic aspect turned off, that can't be done without a macro solution, since that aspect can't be turned off per document. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Please respond in the newsgroups so everyone can follow along. wrote in message oups.com... On the Spelling & Grammar tab of Tools | Options, check the box for "Hide
spelling errors in this document." You will still be able to run the spelling checker manually, but misspellings will not be marked by "Check spelling as you type." If you want to disable spell checking entirely, Ctrl+A and go to Tools | Language | Set Language and check "Do not check spelling or grammar." -- Suzanne S.
