How do I setup the default location to save word files?
Gentlemen,
Sometimes I want to retrieve a file for Word from a disk in drive "A". After I'm done and I want a file from "C", I find that the default has change to "A" and I have to manually find the directory on "C" to correct it.Is there any way to "Lock in" the default on "C".? |

You will avoid that problem and also the problem of corrupting your
documents if you NEVER open documents from the A: drive. You should always copy them to the Hard Disk and open them from there. -- Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis. Hope this helps Doug Robbins - Word MVP "Raymond Ellis" wrote in message ...
