I have have Office 2000 running on XP-Pro. I recently had to reinstall Office
and have reinstalled the Office Sounds for XP/2000, but they don't seem to
work in Word 2000. They work okay for Outlook 2000. Microsoft used to offer a
separate download for Office 2000 sounds, which worked, but all I could find
this time was the XP/2000 download, which doesn't seem to like Word 2000. Any
suggestions? Thanks.

I take it you have switched them on? Tools options general
