Default Downloaded a new font, it won't print unless in color

Hi, I downloaded a new font from my company's branding site but even tho it
is set at normal and color black, it will only print on my colorprinter. If
I send it to the Canon Super G3 only underlines will print. Any suggestions
on how to fix this? Thank you!

Try Normal and Colour "Automatic". "Black" is a colour, and how your
printer makes it complicates the issue.

"Automatic" is "colour zero", or if you like "Process black", which is
"whatever ink or combination of inks the printer wants to use".

Cheers
