creating a "word" version of the lotus wordpro "smartmaster"
I use both wordpro and word. I would use word more, but wordpro has a
feature called smartmaster, where I can create a template (like a contract for example) with blank spots. When I run the smartmaster feature, an applet prompt comes on the screen, asking for the person's first name, address, date of event... so forth... and then it plugs those terms into the document. nice and neat, and then I can print as many copies as I need. How do you do this in word? |

What you are describing is a UserForm. See

Thanks Susanne, I will check it out, and see if I can make it work for my
situation. I will post back on my experience later. ST "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: What you are describing is a UserForm. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms/CreateAUserForm.htm -- Suzanne S.
