Default Word

I have Windows 98 SE, my problem is when I go to Programs and click on Word I
get the owner window to come up and it then freezes and/or hangs. If I Ctrl
Alt Delete a window comes up stating I am dangerously low in resources and I
have to shut off the computer to do anything again. Please Help!!!!
Thanks

It sounds like your system may have a serious RAM problem - either not enough
or some has gone bad.

It could also relate to the condition of your hard disk in terms of
fragmentation/free space.

There are also other possibilities, but check those out first.

Thanks for responding
How do I check for a RAM problem?
I do defragment and often delete temporary files.
