Default Scanning pages into word 2003, hitting 6 page limit

Scanning printouts into Word 2003, for CD storage. I hit a six page limit
and it will not allow any more. I need to scan 15 pages and six sets to a
document file.

All suggestions welcome

If there really is some kind of limit, it's the fault of the scanning
software, or the way it's configured. Obviously Word can handle more
than six pages -- hundreds of times more.

Are you using an OCR program? If so, which one?
