Mailmerge Wizard Word 2003
Is it possible to turn the mailmerge wizard off

Yes, but you don't really need to.
You can do a couple of other things: 1. From the View menu, select Toolbars and check the Mailmerge item. That will display a Toolbar that has all of the buttons on it that you need for mailmerging. 2. From the Tools menu, select Customize and in the Customize dialog, select the Commands tab and then the All Commands Category and scroll down through the commands until you locate the MailMerge Helper item - it is the old mailmerge user interface. You can left click and drag this onto the toolbar or onto the ToolsLetters and Mailings menu. If you do the latter and you really want to get rid of the Wizard, note the position of where you have placed the Mailmerge helper item as on the menu it will appear the same as the item that invokes the wizard, then right click on the one that invokes the wizard and select Delete. -- Hope this helps.
