create a hard space in word to keep two words together in a line?
example: p. m.

instead of

p.
m.

Hi, cynwalker. To create a hard space, press Ctrl+Shift+spacebar.

Note, however, that if you're using p.m. as an abbreviation for "post
meridiem" (after noon), it should not have a space.
