Footer is not displayed
Does the footer show in Print Preview? If so, see
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/WhiteSpace.htm. On the other hand, if you cannot see the footer because you are in a section that is part of a page (that is, beginning and ending with a continuous section break), you can either change the type of section (in File | Page Setup, Layout tab) or temporarily insert page breaks, by pressing Ctrl+Enter. Note also that you can have up to three different headers (and footers) per section; this might explain why you can't see them all. In Word 97-2003, you enable multiple sections by checking the "Different first page" and/or "Different odd and even" options in File | Page Setup, Layout tab. For more on headers/footers and sections, see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm and http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...thSections.htm, respectively. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Gowri" wrote in message ...
