Default blue page number

I was playing around with keyboard shortcuts and now all my page numbers on
every doc I open are blue/highlighted. I am a computer 'idiot'.

Default blue page number

Go to Show Headers and Footers, select the page number with your
cursor, and click the Highlight button. (Or maybe it's not
highlighting but shading; in that case, go to Format Borders and
Shading and turn it off.)

If it's actually gray rather than blue, go to Tools | Options | View and set
"Field shading" to "None" or "When selected."

Hey, I tried it but it didn't work.

I guess the color was grey b/c Suzanne's suggestion worked.

Thanks again.
