How do I select vertical block not research from alt+click?
I have just got office 2003.
It used to be possible to select a vertical block of text by holding down the ALT keuy and dragging. It still says so in the help but when I try I get put into research. How do I do it? |

How do I select vertical block not research from alt+click?
There is a diffrence between Alt+click (which opens the Research pane) and
Alt+drag (which you can use to column-select). That is, when you press the mouse key, you must keep it down. If you release it too soon, it is registered as a click, and you get the Research pane. -- Suzanne S.
