link word data and excel
how do I get info I enter in a cell in a table in word to appear in a
specific cell in excel? -when I enter a person's name I want it to automatically show up in an excel cell then have the cursor move to the next cell down |

how do I get info I enter in a cell in a table in word to appear in a specific cell in excel? Select the cell. Insert bookmark and enter a name for the bookmark. Make sure the cell is selected. Copy. Switch to Excel and use Edit/Paste special. Activate the "Link" option. Choose to paste as text. -When I enter a person's name I want it to automatically show up in an excel cell then have the cursor move to the next cell down There's no way you can get the cursor to move down automatically. How should Word know you've finished? Just press the Down arrow on the keyboard.
