Default Exponents

I am typing up statistics homework and need symbols for exponents. The
insert -- symbol function gives me everything I need except for exponents.
My homework is a mess not being able to distinguish between regular numbers
and exponents. Help!

When you need an exponent. press CTRL+SHIFT+"+" or Control, Shift and the
key with the =/+ sign. This toggles the font to superscript. Type your
exponent then press CTRL+SHIFT+"+" again to toggle back to normal. When you
start you Chemistry class the CTRL+"=" wiill come in handing for toggle
between normal and subscript.
