Default bottom of the screen page, column, line frame is missing

At the bottom of the screen there is usually a frame that says which page,
line and column you are on, it is missing on mine and is really annoying.
Please Help.

Default bottom of the screen page, column, line frame is missing

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Status bar"
box | OK.
