Page Numbering
I hope someone can help. I've created a section break on page 14 of a
document. I do NOT want any number on the first 13 pages. But no matter what I do, when I set up the page numbering using the header/footer on page 14, all the numbers reappear on the first 13. I've tried both continue from previous and the start option on the page number format box. The status bar does say Section 2. But it still puts all the numbers back in section 1. What do I do? |

Page Numbering
Open the section 2 header or footer, turn off "same as previous" or
"link to previous" (depending on Word version) on the Header and Footer toolbar (Word 2003 or earlier) or in the Navigation group on the Ribbon (Word 2007), and then either arrow up to the the section 1 header or footer and delete the page number or insert a page number in the section 2 header or footer.
