Possible to secure print/save MSWord documents?
I'm looking to secure save/print docs in MSWord or elsewhere in MSOffice that
can only be accessed with login/password. Is this possible? |

Possible to secure print/save MSWord documents?
You can assign a password that will have to be supplied to open a document.
To do that, click on the Tools pull down in the File SaveAs dialog and then select the General item and enter the passwork in the Password to open control. Don't lose/forget the password as otherwise not even you will be able to open the document. Word does not have the capability to secure print a document. Once you have given somebody else access to the document, you have lost control over it. Secure printing is a feature of many high-end printers, that is accessed via the Printer Properties dialog, but apart from being able to access that dialog from Word, it has nothing to do with Word itself. -- Hope this helps.
