Is there a way to delete the markup in word?

Markup is either synonymous with track changes, or track changes is the most
common portion of markup, so your "versus" doesn't make any sense.

To remove tracked changes from the document, you need to Accept or Reject
them. Changing the view/show options only hides them. Find details on how

You may also need to delete the Comments, if any exist.
