Default When closing Word, message "cannot open the file ~WRS etc. etc"

After lengthy sessions in Word, when closing the program the following
message appears. "Word cannot open the file
~WRS{C3D40D36-986E-40BC-BF21-A6DA4C645E98}.tmp " The program then restarts. I
have searched with Windows Explorer as far as possible but cannot find such a
file. OS is Vista. I have "repaired" Word using the original program disc but
it did not correct the problem.
