How can I keep table cells from expanding with form fields?
I've inherited a document with a table that contains form fields. Can I
limit the size of a cell so that the form field can expand to fill it, but no further? (Currently the cells keep expanding, which messes up formatting.) |

With the document unprotected, format your table rows for fixed height and
your cells or columns for fixed width. Then reprotect your document. I would recommend doing this in the template. http://addbalance.com/usersguide/tables.htm -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
