Default Labels in Word 2007

I've had several users attempt to complete a mail merge between Word 2007 and
Excel 2007. It will not, by default, single space the labels. This has to be
done manually. We even changed the option in Word to print single instead of
1.16, to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
