Default Setting association for Thunderbird

When I click on "email" icon in Word 2007, I want it to open the Thunderbird
email routine, not Microsoft Outlook. How do I set the association for
Thunderbird?

I don't believe you can. If you've got some coding skills you could
write a macro that launches Thunderbird and then create a button on the
QAT that fires off that Macro when you want it.
