Default How to clear Find and Replace dialog box

I am using Windows XP SP2 and Word 2003.

After I finish using Find and Replace, I would like to clear the entry in
the dialog box. I am not talking about clearing the Next Page/Previous Page
arrows at the bottom of the vertical scroll bar. I am talking about in the
dialog box itself. When I open it using the Edit Replace... command, my
last entry in the "Find What:" and "Replace With:" text boxes are still
there, even tho I've highlighted it and deleted it. I've closed out of the
program and it's still there when I reopen it.

Is there some way to clear old entries? I would like to open to blanks, not
the last thing I used it for.
