Is it possible to join two documents with different templates into a single
document?
I have a main document and I need to attach an appendix of a document with a
different template.
Any help will be very gratefully received.

You can insert one document into the other using the Insert/File function in
Word. both documents retain their own formatting. Hope that helps

Not true at all. You can preserve some document-level formatting by
incorporating section breaks (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...thSections.htm), but styles will
update (see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/styl...xtChanges.html); direct
font and paragraph formatting will usually be retained.
