I have a 3 page letter document someone sent me and I remember in the past
that there was a way to make a documents text be shrunk all proportionally
so that it would fit in the desired page count or something.

I couldn't find out how to do this. Does this feature exist?

The only such option that I am aware of is the one in the Print Preview
screen that allows the shrinking of a document that is a bit more than one
page so that it will fit on one page, which it does by changing the font
size.
