Paragraph Selection Behavior
(Paragraph styles only)
In Word. if I have nothing selected and change the style, the style applies to the entire paragraph. If I partially select two paragraphs and change the style, the style applies to the entire paragraphs. If I partially select text in ONE paragraph and change the style, I get a *******ize half application of the style (apparently treating it like a character style). Is there any way in word to customize to change the last behavior so that it would apply to the entire paragraph? |

Paragraph Selection Behavior
There's not much you can do about it. You really need to ensure that you
select the final paragraph marker to stop this happening. Turning off 'Keep Track of Formatting' sort of helps by hiding the *******ized style, but it is still there. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP wrote in message ... In Word 2007, there's a check box at the bottom, "Disable linked styles" -- which is the technical term, though I like "*******ized styles" better g -- that gets rid of the problem completely. Paragraph Selection Behavior
Not in W2002 and 2003. The behavior is different in W2007.
