Word 2003 should stop popping up formatting tips
Could the program please push itself into the background and stop
interrupting with formatting tips and pop-ups. Just let me type my bl**dy letters. When I want help, I'll ask for it. I find it really frustrating having things pop up as I type. This is not something that I set in my version of Word, this is how it installed, out of the box. Sooooooooooooo wish I had older version of Word back. Hi Rob-
I can identify with your frustration, but by the same token I can appreciate MS logic in turning most of those features ON by default for the benefit of inexperienced, less knowledgeable users. They can't be expected to be able to figure out what HELP features might possibly be available, let alone determine how to turn them ON. OTH, more experienced users realize that each of those features can be turned OFF and where to look in order to do so. CyberTaz, I have always thought MS stupid for doing it. You've provided a
wee bit of reason. Thanks. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "CyberTaz" wrote in message ...
