Converting automatic numbering to hard text
Is there any way of converting automatic numbering into hard text, keeping
the same numbering sequence. The operator wants to be able to delete certain numbered paragraphs, but keep the original numbering of the others (eg. a list of documents where if some documents are removed, the others will keep their original numbering). Probably should have been put in hard text to start with, but they did not realise at the time some would be deleted. List is almost up to 1000! 1. Document 1 2. Document 2 5. Document 5 (where documents 3 and 4 have been deleted) 6. Document 6 |
