Default when opening a new word document the header & footers are missing

Hi, sogradis. If you want to see headers and footers on the screen, you
should be working in Print Layout view. If you are already in Print Layout
view but still can't see the headers and footers, then click on Tools |
Options | View | check the "White space between pages" box | OK.
