Default 'Add to dictionary' Disabled

Make sure the language of the dictionary (Custom.dic) is "All Languages."

Hi all,

Does anyone know how I can activate a button in Word 97 (Vista) that is
greyed out? When the spell checker finds an unknown word, I don't have the
facility to right click and 'Add to Dictionary' - it's just greyed out.
Have
checked out the options using Microsoft help files but my problem doesn't
seem to be listed.

Thanks for your help,
LD
