Editing TOCs
After selecting the styles I want to appear in my TOC, sometimes I need to
either add a style or delete a style. When I right mouse click in the TOC, I can pull up the initial screen, but all of the default styles are clicked and I have to go through and unclick them again. Is there a way to get around this? Can the default style selections be modified? -- Thanks. Eileen |

The styles that are included by default are those that have outline levels
matching the number of levels you've told Word to include. If you modify those styles to have an outline level of Body Text, they will not be included. Note that the outline level of Heading styles can't be changed. -- Suzanne S.
