When I save my Word 2003 documents to html format, I cannot see the header
when I open it up. How can I see the header or preserve the header when
saving to a html format?

HTML files do not have headers. Put the header content at the top of the
document instead.

Hi Quidam,

As an alternative to Anne's suggestion you can use
Format==Frames in Word to create a header frame file
for your HTML formatted document.

Note that when you save a Word document as a web page,
while the header may not show up in a browser, if the
document is reopened in Word it should reappear.
