Default Reference for MS Office Outlook Object Library set in Reference

I have checked the Microsoft Office Outlook 11.0 Object Library under
Tools/References in the VBE but I am still getting the following error
when I run the mailmerge macro.

Dim oOutlookApp As Outlook.Application - User-defined type not defined

Please help!

If you go back to ToolsReferences in the Visual Basic Editor is the box
still checked?

No, it's not. If I check it again and rerun the macro though I still
get the error.

It should remain checked. I am not sure what it is that you are doing that
would cause it to not remain checked.
