Bizarre Table of Contents Behavior
I am creating a template in Office 2003 (with SP1) and I am having some
issues with my TOC. When I open the document and go to the table of contents (TOC), the first section is displayed as starting on page 4. I want it to start on page one. I went to that section and inserted a page number and told it to start from page 1. I then also enabled the Update Field options on the Tools, Options, Print tab. I can update the TOC and it will appears as starting on page one. If I save the document, close it, and then open it again, the first section shows as starting on page four again. Is there something I am missing????? Andrew Perl Kansas City, MO |
