Tables print distorted (vertically stretched)
I have a Word document with a number of tables. Some tables are on portrait
layout, some on landscape layout. There are section breaks in between some tables to allow for the different page layout. For some reason the landscape oriented tables (which appear fine in print preview) print vertically stretched, i.e. they are in Arial but the letter look skinnier and taller and the tables don't fit on their respective pages. The tables on portrait layout pages are just fine. Any idea what is going on and how it can be fixed, other than retyping the tables in a new document? The only reference I find in the MS Knowledge Base refers to tables imported from Word into PowerPoint (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821163), which doesn't apply in my case. I'm using Windows XP/Word 2003. Thanks. |
