Custom dictionaries
Hello,
I am upgrading to Word 2007 from Word 2002. I have a couple custom dictionary (custom.dic) files from Word 2002 that I'd like to install in Word 2007. Where is the best place to store these? Does Word 2007 use the same file name for its custom dictionary? I can't find one, instead finding all sorts of other dictionary files. Thanks in advance! Pauline |

Custom dictionaries
Hi Pauline
Yes, Word 2007 can still use custom.dic as one of the personal dictionaries (they can be language/dialect specific). If you use Office Button=Word Options=Proofing and click on the [Custom Dictionaries] button you should see the File Path that stores the Custom.dic file. You can paste yours to that folder using the [Browse] button. =============================== "paula" wrote in message ... Hello, I am upgrading to Word 2007 from Word 2002.
