Which version of Word are you using? If this is Word 2007 and you cannot see
the built-in page number formats, try exiting Word and then deleting the Building Blocks.dotx template. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "BASSAM AL_JARRAH" BASSAM wrote in message ... the page numbering icon in the insert list is not function are there any setting in the Microsoft Word to solve this problem. thanks |

But be careful to delete only the templates in folders inside the hidden
folder %appdata%\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks The folder names are numbers corresponding to the installed languages. For a list of languages and their numbers see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...edded.10).aspx. Do not delete any templates from folders under C:\Program FIles\Microsoft Office\Office12\Document Parts. Those are ones created by the Office installer, and should remain untouched. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. Thank you for clarifying this. I have to admit I hadn't noticed that there
is a Building Blocks.dotx file in the program files folder as well. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Jay Freedman" wrote in message ...
