Dropping headers/footers.
Does anyone know how I can write a letter using the H & F letterhead I have created, without it showing up on subsequent pages, i.e. "continuation" pages? It's driving me mad to send out a mailshot over one page in length with all pages bearing the letterhead. Cheers. John. -- pozimat |

Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where you
want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages. http://www.addbalance.com/word/headersfooters.htm This gives step-by-step instructions. Enable the "Different first page" option in File | Page Setup to
create a first page header.
