I have been unable to insert pictures from the web into my powerpoint
presentations. I have tryed to cut and paste, safe to file and then insert.
Nothing works. When I try to open up the picture, there is just a red X
there. What am I doing wrong.\?

You might try asking in a PowerPoint newsgroup. This one is for Word.
