Default Custom Document Properties - problem with date format

Hello

I'm using Word 2003.
I want to define a custom document property eg MyDate of type date. Each
time I enter a value I get a dialog response €œThe value entered does not
match the specified type. The value will be stored as text.€
What format should I be using €“ does it depend on System Settings such as
Location (Im in Australia).

Thanks, David
